Kelkay Horticultural Potting Grit is a Lime-free, angular grit. This versatile product can be used for a number of horticultural applications such as adding to compost to improve drainage and using as a soil improver. Horticultural Grit can also be used when potting up aquatic plants, perfect accompaniment for cacti too. Horticultural Potting Grit is also great for adding that finishing touch to pots and tubs and this will also help with drainage.

This product is part of the Kelkay Horticulture Collection range of products.

Size, Colour and Dust information

Sizing: Please note all decorative aggregates are quarried. The size of the product can vary and, in most cases, will be larger than expected. All sizes quoted are only an approximate indication.

Colour: Natural products may show some colour variations due to natural changes in rock formation which are beyond our control. We take every measure to keep this to a minimum, but variations are to be expected.

Dust: All quarried decorative gravels will contain a certain amount of dust this is caused either by the blasting or digging at the quarries. The dust can be cleared by simply hosing the materials once laid or letting nature take its course by letting the dust wash away over time with rain fall. We always recommend that if you are not familiar with any decorative aggregate please always purchase a sample prior to ordering or call our expert staff who will be happy to help.
